Charity work has always held a special place in my heart. There’s an unparalleled joy in lending a hand to those in need, making even the smallest difference in someone’s life. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to be involved with several charities that have shaped my perspective and allowed me to contribute positively to my community.
IsatouProperties Welfare Funds was founded in 2020 to lend helping hands to the most vulnerable individuals in The Gambia. It started with a Scholarship program. Then, Start-up business capital for women, Clean water projects, and Agricultural farms.
We just want to have a positive impact to support individuals who have a decent living in rural, poor Gambia.
Isatouproperties has invested in Groundnut farms in The Gambia, since 2021. Isatouproperties Welfare Funds is a non-profit under Isatouproperties LLC and both are registered in WA state and active, UBI NUMBERS; 604 297 314, 604 733 073, respectively. We started with four farms and continue to expand every year. The communities that we work at are impressed with our initiatives and spreading the word rapidly.
As a beneficiary of college education, it was a privilege for me, as a female African woman to receive such. We want the same opportunity for the children of families that are financially struggling.

My journey in charity work has been a transformative and humbling experience. It’s a constant reminder of the power we possess to create positive change in the world. I encourage everyone to find their own path in giving back—whether through volunteering, donating, or advocating for causes close to their hearts. Together, we can make a difference, one act of kindness at a time.
